Simon-Dach-Straße – one of the most popular starting points for night owls. Until the fall of the Berlin wall a quiet residential street, later numerous bars and cafes were established in this street. It was named after the poet Simon Dach.
The iconic cinema Intimes, in the style of the 70s, has existed since 1933. In addition top premieres, it shows especially older films as well as smaller, lesser-known productions.
The Simon-Dach-Strasse leads to the Revaler street where you can find among others the Astra culture house, the disco Cassiopeia, the open-air cinema Insel as well as the cult Disco Rosi. In the summer, the parties are usually held outdoors in Kiez hof at Rosi’s.
